The Opportunity. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll and ensuring that it is processed in alignment with Company policies and procedures.

The Job. Aero Precision processes three multistate payrolls (two biweekly and one weekly). The Payroll Specialist will help with processing each payroll which includes working with department managers to ensure employee payroll related changes are reflected timely, ensuring all deductions such as child support, garnishments, 401k, advances, medical, and taxes are accurate and reviewing timecards and investigating any discrepancies. This position will be working with our employees to answer any payroll related questions. The PS will perform data audits of the system to ensure employee’s payroll files are set up correctly and will help with the preparation of payroll journal entries. 

Requirements  
· 1-2 years of Payroll experience
· Exposure to multistate payroll processing
· Knowledge of benefit deductions and has experience with open enrollment
· Fast data entry and 10-key skills
· Strong mathematical skills
· High attention to detail
· Efficient time management and prioritization of tasks
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Confidentiality and integrity
· Able to work independently 
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
· Paylocity Payroll experience preferred
· This position reports to the Controller
