The Opportunity. We are eager to expand technology solutions across many disciplines of our warehousing, assembly and shipping operations as well as further expanding our automation of CNC machining processes.  This is a new position reporting directly to the VP of Information Technology Services with close ties to our innovative CEO and other key process managers.

We need a self-starter who can work effectively with the team to design, create, and implement automation solutions to improve throughput and improve productivity.

The Job. The Mechatronics Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the development and completion of automated Robotic and Instrumentation based solutions. You will analyze current processes and perform time studies, to guide the search for automotive solutions. The MME will create SOPs and lead trainings to bring the necessary teams up to speed on new processes. Additionally, they will perform integration and functional testing to assure best practices.

Requirements
  • BS Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in hardware solutions for robotics and automation or similar area.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • CAD Experience
  • Solidworks Experience Preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
