The Opportunity. Aero Precision is looking to add an IT Support Technician (Tier 1) to our growing team. This position is responsible for the setup and maintenance of Aero Precision’s network and computer systems. Daily tasks will include maintenance of computer hardware and software, general technical support to the staff, assisting with IT projects.

The Job. The IT Support Technician will take initial telephone or email inquiries and support requests through a ticketing system. They will troubleshoot and manage relatively simple hardware, software or network problems, and will have the ability to recognize and escalate more difficult problems when needed. Additionally, the IT Support Technician will provide level 1 phone/chat/email/desk-side support for desktop related issues with a sense of urgency and care. They will also monitor IT assets and supplies and operate scissor lifts as necessary for data cabling.

Requirements
• CompTIA A+ certification
• Microsoft Office, Windows 10 Professional application skills
• Strong written & verbal communications skills
• Highly professional demeanor and service-oriented personality
• Aptitude for technical problem-solving and critical thinking
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year relevant IT support or helpdesk experience
