- The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensure that the cycle count procedure is executed per the established plan.
- The coordinator identifies the parts to be count, assigns count sheets to the inventory counters, reviews count data and updates the E1 perpetual inventory record after proper approval is obtained.
- The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the results of the cycle counts and doing basic analysis of the data.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy of customer supplied material and customer updates as requested.
- Responsible for supporting the receiving dock functions and material movement to assembly and packaging.
- Performs a variety of computer functions relating to inventory control in the ERP system.
- Responsible for safe handling of material at all times and protecting it from damage.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Oversee the cycle count inventories of components in TMFG inventory locations. Investigates variances and maintains KPI data and reporting.
- Performs cycle counts. Inputs cycle counts into computer.
- Generates and reviews count summaries for error, recounting as necessary.
- Recommends adjustments for approval.
- Verifies goods received by counting, weighing, and/or identifying goods against labels and receipt documentation.
- Performs the receiving transaction in the ERP system.
- Delivers goods received to the Receiving Inspection, semi-finished parts queue, or finished goods location as applicable.
- Performs inter-warehouse location transfers and conversions to new product codes (re-classing). May assist leaders on special projects and assist in training other warehouse employees on computer
- functions or other cross training.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Performance of duties requires heavy lifting.
- Physical effort may be required to transport in excess of 70 pounds.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
- Occasionally, will be exposed to all weather conditions in handling materials outside, unloading or loading vehicles.
- Safety protective equipment as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES: - Pay attention to detail and time frames in processing paperwork.
- Transaction accuracy is critical.
- Operate a variety of equipment including calculator, computer, scales, hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
- Have a thorough knowledge of parts workflow, procedures and computer inventory systems (ERP or equivalent). Perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Physical ability to reach, stoop, bend, climb stairs, and move materials from floor-to-shelves and from department to department.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or better preferred. 2 years as Warehouse Associate or equivalent experience. Computer experience required.
