Customer Service Representative

Smyrna, GA

Customer Service
Full-Time
Provide professional customer service by analyzing and rectifying customer concerns by providing prompt and accurate solutions personalized to each customer.

Shift:
8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday 
 

Supervisory Responsibilities:
 
  • None
 
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
               
  • Simple Order Entry
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to assess and resolve customer needs quickly, accurately, and consistently
  • Contact customers via fax, phone, or e-mail for missing or incorrect order information
  • Check data bases for forms and other customer information as needed
  • Audit Simple Orders
  • Communicate with other departments and /or customers regarding late orders and incorrect or damaged shipments
  • Assist Team GLOCK internet sales with calls
  • Administer FFL EZ-check and verification of all FFL applicable orders
  • Assist the receptionist as needed throughout the day by answering and correctly routing inbound calls
  • Coordinate sales problems with Customer Service Manager, LE and or Commercial Sales Coordinators, or the Assistant National Sales Manager

  • Demonstrates a positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent Data Entry skills, accurately type 30 - 50 words per minute
  • Effectively organize time and multitask numerous projects as well as understand multiple products
  • A Team player who possesses the ability to work effectively independently as well as with customers, co-workers and management
  • Work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation and the flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed
  • Exercise good judgment and discretion

Education and/or Experience:
2 - 4 years related experience and/or training
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent Data Entry and Computer skills
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar
General office skills
