E-Commerce Specialist

The E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for administering, maintaining, and executing retail programs and activities conducted through various channels (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.). The Sr. E-Commerce Specialist works closely with Market Research Manager and upper management as well as with Operations Team and Amazon Marketing Agency

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages e-commerce channel catalogs: Updating existing listings, creation of new listings for new products, price and inventory monitoring
  • Assists with the creation of channel-specific coupons, promotions and deals
  • Creates summarized monthly sales and advertising reports; provides actionable insights and recommendations based on the analysis
  • Maintains and records channel’s historical sales and advertising data for later comparison
  • Coordinates with merchandising department for new NON-PAO products to list on channels
  • Maintains metrics across all channels to ensure top seller status and prime shipping privileges
  • Coordinates with RMA and customer service for channel specific issues regarding price matching, return policy, fraud
  • Manages FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) by monitoring and replenishing inventory levels, working with RMA to consolidate returns
  • Consults with Amazon Marketing Agency to optimize and develop paid advertising strategy
  • Explores avenues for growth and expansion – New marketing techniques, new shipping services, new channels
  • Maintains knowledge of channel policy updates and establishes best practices accordingly
  • Coordinates with Operations team for order cancellations, shipping changes, and order sorting
  • Assists Market Research Manager with Channel projects, as needed
  • Additional tasks, as needed, within the Primary Arms Team

Qualifications and Skill Sets
  • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • E-commerce tools: Celigo, Sellics, Feedback Five
  • PPC advertising practices specific to Amazon, eBay, and Walmart
  • SEO practices specific to Amazon, eBay, and Walmart
  • Experience using FBA
  • Knowledge of basic HTML
  • Experience with managing a large catalog of products
  • Experience with selling on and maintaining multiple channel accounts within good standing
  • Highly detailed and organized
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Firearms and/or optics knowledge is a plus
 
Relationships
Market Research Manager
  •  Channel Metrics – Works with the Market Research Manager to maintain good account health by resolving customer concerns, A to Z claims, and chargeback claims
  • PPC Advertising – Assists with analyzing monthly advertising reports and collaborating for the upcoming month’s ad strategy
  • Sales – Provides Market Research Manager with bi-weekly sales updates
  • Growth and Expansion – Collaborates with the Market Research Manager to explore new channels, marketing techniques and products
Optics Team
  • New Product Releases – Coordinates with the Optics Team to determine the time frame to list new products and the amount of inventory provided for channel sales
  • Promotions – Assists with the help of creating coupons and deals for channels
RMA Supervisor
  • Assists the RMA Supervisor with providing return instructions and shipping labels for channel orders along with determining the best course of action for special case returns based on channel policies
  • Customer Service Team
  • Works with the Customer Service Team to resolve customer issues and concerns within the allowed channel policies
Warehouse Operations Team
  • Coordinates with the Warehouse Operations Team to ensure channel orders are sorted accordingly, shipped within a timely manner, and for order changes or cancellations
