Vortex Optics is looking for a talented individual to add to our Accounts Receivable team. As a Credit & Collections Analyst, you will evaluate customer credit risk and collect on past due invoices for an assigned portfolio/customer base. If you possess the skills and experience needed, we would like to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Process customer credit applications.
  • Analyze customer financial statements and credit reports to establish credit lines.
  • Analyze payment habits of delinquent customers in payment of invoices.
  • Create executive level credit analysis and recommend action to be taken on high-risk accounts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal customers.
  • Adhere to credit policy and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 year(s) of relevant work experience in commercial credit/collections and/or finance-related field.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
  • Negotiation and critical thinking skills.
  • Efficient and effective organization skills.
  • Ability to self-start, work independently as well as in a team environment.
